Only the highest quality of materials are used to produce my paintings. Anything which comes in contact with the painting should be non-degrading and acid free. I use Winsor Newton paints and paint on Arches cold pressed paper (has some texture). I have found these materials hold up quite well over time and assures my customers can enjoy the paintings with their friends, family and colleagues for a very long time.
If you are looking for painting which looks like a photo, I suggest you buy a photograph. You will be happier.
I tend to paint in a more realistic style. I still enjoy the wonder and excitement in encouraging the creative nature of watercolors of surprising me with something new. There are NO two watercolor paintings the same!
I create watercolor paintings from photographs or other original renderings. These are a reference point for my creation. I do not paint from images which have a copyright. If you are not the photographer, you must have permission to use the photo or have made arrangement for any limitation or pay the Royalty fees.
